The Concert in the Park August 25th 2016

About the Artist: Dancehall Days - Astonishing musicianship with a repertoire that is wildly diverse and authentic. Audiences are having the thrill of a lifetime. With performances in 2015 at San Francisco Ritz Carlton, Nassau Bahamas, United Kingdom, Sun Valley Resort the word is out, Dancehall is a powerhouse. In 2014 Dancehall Days was honored to be selected along with G. Love & Special Sauce by Entertainment Solutions Inc. (Phoenix, AZ) to headline the 2014 Portland Rock n Roll Half Marathon.

Mark your calendar for "the concert-in-the-park" event on Thursday August 25th from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. Bring a picnic basket or purchase food and beverages at the park. The Rec Mobile from Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation District (THPRD) will provide activities for kids and the Nature Mobile, THPRD's traveling nature education unit, will provide demonstrations and information during the concert. THPRD, with the help of the Raleigh Park Neighborhood Association (RPNA) will hold this free concert. Street Captains Needed

The Raleigh Park Neighborhood Association needs volunteers to help as Street Captains to deliver the newsletters in our neighborhood. There are several routes within our neighborhood that lack a street captain. The principal duty for a street captain is delivering the newsletters up to 4 times a year. Vacant Board Positions

Those residents interested in helping the Raleigh Park Community can apply for vacant positions on the Board of the Raleigh Park Neighborhood Association at the next General or Board meetings. It is a great time to get involved!
